Power and signal are supplied through ethernet cable to the device by a Power-Over-Ethernet power supply (PoE injector), which is included free.
New! Now we offer two versions of this product:
- Standard version - Uses Active PoE based on IEEE 802.11af standard. Offer stable power with Ethernet cables long up to 100 meters.
- LITE version - Uses Passive PoE which uses free wires of ethernet cable to send power to outdoor device. This is applicable with Ethernet cable long up to 20 meters.
Maximum length of Ethernet cable depends on cable quality. We recommend to use Cat 5e cable.

Infrastructure mode
The equipment in infrastructure mode can connect to the majority of access points working in AP mode with standard 802.11 b. This mode is appropriate especially for Internet connections, and also for other networks as an end-user, for printer sharing etc.

|
Ad-Hoc
Ad-Hoc mode is used for computers connected to one subnetwork (peer-to-peer). It has a fixed communication channel and "ssid" (identification name of network) which should be unique in the communication area to keep clear of interference.
