Traffic Manager 2.0

The Ferimex IT Traffic Manager 2.0 is a multi-function router with a large number of features at an affordable price. It is based on MikroTik RouterOS ™ software. The Traffic Manager 2.0 can be used to manage local or city-wide/ISP networks. It can serve as a router or a bridge. Enhanced firewalling capabilities and network address translations make it easy to connect a group of computers to the internet. You can control and keep accounting of the connection speed and data volume for each individual customer in the network. Class-based traffic shaping allows assigning different guaranteed bandwidths to different customers. Unused bandwidth can also be shared among various sub-groups of users. Security can be improved by limiting access only to specific clients with assigned IP or MAC addresses on the ethernet ports. The device can be managed over a serial port, or remotely by SSH or SNMP. The Traffic Manager 2.0 can handle up to about 100 customers. You can divide customers into groups. For example, you can put 10 customers into a group which shares a bandwidth of 128 kbps. This is a more efficient use of your bandwidth, because not all customers will be using the network at the same time. You can of course also dedicate a certain bandwidth to one customer, without sharing. You can connect a wireless device and antenna to one of the ethernet ports, so that the Traffic Manager 2.0 can control the customers in your WLAN network.
