You have several choices for shipping from Ferimex IT
Please review and choose:
1) We can ship by UPS Express worldwide, or UPS Standard inside Europe.
UPS has tracking, and is fast. Express is 2 or 3 business days, Standard
is about 4 or 5 business days. In some countries you can pay for
the shipping when you receive the package if you have a customer number.
But UPS is expensive.
DHL and Fedex have similar service and similar expensive prices.
2) Cargo Partner air freight company offers
shipping cheaper than UPS for large packages.
Delivery time is about 5 business days. There is tracking.
In many EU countries you can pay for the shipping when you
receive the package. Minimum charge for air freight shipments is
about 130 Euros to Europe, 200 Euros to Africa, depending on the country.
Cargo Partner insurance charge is 20 Euros minimum.
3) Gebruder-Weiss shipping company offers delivery by truck inside
Europe. This is much cheaper than air freight for large orders over
60 kg, but takes about 10 days.
4) The cheapest method is regular first-class post.
This is always much cheaper than UPS, and cheaper than Cargo Partner
for orders under 50 kilograms.
Delivery time inside Europe is usually 7 days.
To other countries it can take up to 3 weeks.
You must clear customs if you are not in the European Union.
Insurance is 0,6% to 3% of total value, depending on the country.
Prices per box, maximum 20 or 30 kg in one box:
- Poland and Czech: 4 Euros + 1 Euro/kg.
- Hungary, Ukraine, and Austria: 10 Euros + 1,3 Euros/kg.
- All other Europe: 16 Euros + 1,5 Euros/kg.
- Most of Africa and Asia: 13 Euros + 6,2 Euros/kg (some countries are cheaper)
We can also ship by Express Mail Service (EMS), which is faster
than first-class post, but about 50% more expensive. Read the
warning about EMS and First Class Post shipping.
4) You can arrange your own shipping company to
come to Ferimex IT to pick up the package. Or you
can pick up your order in person in Stara Lubovna in Slovakia.
Outside the European Union? We charge 10 Euros for preparing customs
papers if you are not in the EU. You might have to pay import taxes or
customs duties to your government when you receive the package, if you are
outside the EU. Ferimex does not have any information on your customs duties.
This is not included in the money you pay to Ferimex for shipping.
Ferimex cannot
prepare shipping invoices with a value of goods lower than the sales price.
Many customers request this to save money on customs duties, but it is not
legal to do it, sorry.
Weight: You can see the shipping weight of most of our
products on the web page for that product. Please note that
shipping companies charge a
"volume weight", which might be larger than the true weight
of your order. Volume Weight for air shipments (UPS and
Cargo Partner) is 167 kg per cubic meter. Volume Weight for
truck shipments (Gebruder-Weiss) is 330 kg per cubic meter.
First class post and EMS have no volume weight: you are only charged
for the true weight of your order.
